In December 2012 Liveinslums launched within the Institute Penitentiary Bollate (Seconda Casa di Reclusione di Milano) a carpentry workshop and craft, which was attended by a group of eight detainees, for the realization of the furnishings of the restaurant 28 Posti. The detainees, identified by educators were followed by members of the association during the entire period of training and work. The furnishings were designed by Francesco Faccin and realized with the contribution of the master cabinetmaker Giuseppe Filippini. The restaurant itself was also restored by a group of prisoners who worked as laborers under the direction of Gaetano Berni and Maria Luisa Daglia (responsible for the architectural design). Later inside the restaurant we were initiated training programs in favor of prisoners and political refugees, employed in the kitchen and hall
