During the Design Week, the Leonardo's vegetable garden (Palazzo delle Stelline) will host an installation projected by architects, landscape designers, agronomists and artist belonging to the urban re-qualification project Liveinslums.
During the Farm Atelier workshop, held in collaboration with the Naba Milano – Politecnico di Milano Master “Paesaggi Straordinari”, Liveinslums will starts up a food production by adopting a agricultural technique, experimented in African countries (in-bag agriculture) and a vegetable straw-bale column.
Everyday the garden will host debates and international conferences concerning themes related to environmental and feeding topics, with the aim to present to the city a renewed location, proposed to be used, lived, grown and respected. This place will be hosting workshops and didactic courses with the goal to accost citizens and agriculture, and to produce a concrete example of commitment of the community towards the next expo.
