In occasion of the Sao Paolo Calling exhibition, Liveinslums has made an educational vegetable garden for the Fernando Grazioso Elementary School, located inside the Bamburral slum.

The project intends to build a green wall grown with vegetables and food plant above the school’s façade; and a vegetable terraced garden in soil with medicinal herbs and plants in the shadowed area of the school.

The students from the school of different ages, in turns, have actively participated in the construction of the garden learning how to seed, how to plant, how to recognize the different species and how to take care of the plants.
